Jewelry Care

Brass Jewelry

All earrings are made with 18k gold plated brass ear wires. They are great for sensitive ears and since they clasp they stay on through all your movement.

Here are my top tips to take care of your brass jewelry and keep it looking its best.

  • Use a brass polishing cloth or a solution specifically designed for brass. Avoid abrasive cleaners which can scratch the surface.

  • Store brass jewelry in a cool, dry place away from sunlight to prevent tarnishing. Using airtight plastic bags with anti-tarnish strips can help.

  • Remove brass jewelry before swimming, bathing, or applying lotions and perfumes, as chemicals can cause tarnish and damage.

Beaded Jewelry

All earrings are made with gold filled ear wires. They are great for sensitive ears and since they clasp they stay on through all your movement.

  • Keep your beaded earrings DRY! If the thread gets wet, it can shrink when it dries, causing the fringe to wrinkle and no longer lay flat. If they get wet. Hang them up to dry, and the fringe should dry relatively straight. you can also gently roll or massage the fringe with the earrings laying flat on a clean cloth on a table.

  • Store your earrings ideally laying flat - in a dry place (not in your bathroom!) and out of direct sunlight (this can cause the glass beads color to fade). You can also hang them, but over time gravity may cause the fringe to sag slightly.

  • Transport them in a protective box or pouch if traveling
