Caring for Your Earrings

Every pair is handcrafted by me in small batches and made to become part of your everyday life. With a little care, they’ll stay beautiful for years to come.

Brass Earrings

  • Remove before swimming, showering, or using a hot tub.

  • Brass naturally develops a patina over time. Restore its shine with a brass polishing cloth.

  • Store in a cool, dry place when not being worn.

Beaded Earrings

  • Keep away from water and steam, which can cause the thread to shrink.

  • Store flat whenever possible. Hanging occasionally is fine, but long-term hanging may stretch the threads.

  • Transport in a pouch or protective box when traveling.

Materials

  • Gold-filled ear wires are hypoallergenic and made to resist tarnishing.

  • Brass components may naturally develop a patina with wear.

Repairs

  • Every pair is handmade with care.

  • If your earrings ever need repair, please reach out. Whenever possible, I’ll gladly repair them for you.
